Head Guide
As the head guide at Winterlake Lodge, a backcountry lodge in a remote part of Alaska, I was extremely focused on customer service. I would guide high paying guests through their entire stay including the planning and execution of all the helicopter accessed activities we offer.
The guides at Winterlake call ourselves the “dreamweavers” because we specialize in creating those “wow” moments for our guests so they have a once in a lifetime experience! In a small lodge setting, I was also happy to chip in with other departments to help keep the lodge running! Besides guiding guests in outdoor settings, duties included housekeeping, lodge maintenance, and sled dog handling.
Creative + Social Media Director
As a member of a small marketing team, I’ve worn many hats: graphic designer, video editor, social media guru, web designer, to name a few. I took lead on all social media efforts. I was in charge of shooting all video and most photo assets and editing a continuous stream of projects to publish.

I’ve worked closely with the company general manager, owner, and director of marketing to conceive, plan, budget, and host a user-submitted film festival designed to engage millennials and gen z’ers.
I oversaw the rebranding of the ski resort including a new logo, website, and more. I also assisted in customer service when necessary.
Whitewater Raft Guide
Customer service in an outdoor recreation setting. I worked trips on the South and Middle forks of the American River, Merced River, North Fork Stanislaus River, class 3 and 4, 1-2 day trips. I often was the trip leader and/or “people person” responsible for the safety briefing and guest communication. I also helped to shoot and produce promotional videos of the raft trips.
